The bulls run the Indian markets have achieved another milestone with Sensex hitting the 20,000 mark. It was a solid 700 points rally on the Sensex and Nifty hit 5,900 levels scoring over a double century. It was third biggest single day absolute point fot the Sensex.
It took 10 sessions for the Sensex to gain 1000 points after it first hit 19,000 level on 15 October 2007.The sensex journey from 5000 to 20000 is as follows
